Shipping Insurance Terms & Conditions
These Shipping Insurance Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the replacement of lost or stolen shipments by Bag Riders. By purchasing shipping insurance or placing an order with Bag Riders, you agree to the applicable terms outlined below.
1. Definitions

“Insured Shipment” refers to an order for which shipping insurance was purchased at checkout.

“Uninsured Shipment” refers to an order for which shipping insurance was not purchased.

“Lost or Stolen” refers to a shipment confirmed as missing or stolen after carrier tracking shows delivery failure, loss in transit, or theft after delivery, subject to investigation.

“Replacement Shipment” refers to a replacement of the original item(s), not a refund.
2. Insured Shipping Policy
For orders with purchased shipping insurance, the following terms apply:

Replacement Only
Bag Riders will replace lost or stolen packages. Cash refunds are not offered for lost or stolen shipments. -
Affidavit Requirement
An Insurance Services Affidavit is required for all insured claims. This affidavit will be emailed to the customer and must be completed and returned before a replacement is issued. -
Fraud Review
Bag Riders reserves the right to review all claims for potential fraud. Claims suspected of fraudulent activity may be denied at our sole discretion. -
Replacement Delivery Conditions
Replacement shipments may be held at a local pickup center and may require:-
Government-issued ID verification, and/or
-
Signature confirmation upon delivery.

Single-Use Limitation
Shipping insurance coverage may only be used once per shipment that is lost or stolen. -
Replacement eligibility for these products is subject to additional review and may be excluded entirely.
3. Uninsured Shipping Policy
For orders without purchased shipping insurance, the following terms apply:

Carrier Assistance Only
Bag Riders will work with the shipping carrier to attempt to resolve or replace lost or stolen packages. However, Bag Riders does not guarantee replacement for uninsured shipments. -
Carrier Discretion
The shipping carrier will review the claim, and any determination regarding replacement will be made solely at the shipping carrier’s discretion. -
No Cash Refunds
Cash refunds are not offered for lost or stolen uninsured shipments. -
Fraud Review
Bag Riders reserves the right to review all claims for potential fraud. Fraudulent or suspicious claims may be denied. -
Replacement Delivery Conditions
If a replacement is approved by the carrier, the shipment may be held at a local pickup center and may require ID verification and/or signature confirmation.
4. General Provisions

Bag Riders is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

Shipping insurance does not cover delays, cosmetic packaging damage, or carrier-related service disruptions unless the shipment is confirmed as lost or stolen.

Bag Riders reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
