February COTM: MK6 Volkswagen Golf R
This month we had a face-off with two VWs with excellent wheel fitment. Brian Jensen came out ahead and took the February Car of the Month! Brian's Mk6 Golf R has superb fitment and a clean look, backed by VW's AWD system and a 2.0L turbocharged engine.
The Build
This shot was taken and provided courtesy of Kevin O'Connell. He's captured the aggressive facelift that Volkswagen introduced for the Golf R's, and Brian's front splitter accentuates it even more.
Brian's OZ Futura's fill his wheel well excellently; the thick spokes accent the round profile on the R. Brian mentioned he couldn't be happier with his 3-piece wheels and takes advantage of recent snow days to clean and polish them!
