BMW G80 M3 Super Low Air Suspension Kit is Officially in Development
That's right, we've got a G80 M3 in the Bag Riders shop and development of the Super Low air suspension kit for the platform has started! Our good friend and long time air ride OG Stephen lent us his beautiful G80 M3 Competition to develop the new setup on. The guy even drove it up to us in Vermont during the middle of a snowstorm. Turns out G80s are truly good at whatever you throw at them.
The G80 M3 Rear Kit is Pretty Dialed
We're already making some good headway on the rear air suspension prototype. Typically the rears take the most engineering since custom billet top and bottom brackets need to be made for cars that utilize a separate spring in shock. After taking measurements, 3D printing our test mounts, we then get billet mounts produced for our first road ready prototype. Keep in mind, Bag Riders is a small operation that focuses on quality so sometimes projects like this can take some time since our main priority is the website and customer support for all things air suspension. The Super Low line of air suspension is our passion project. We set out to make the best handling, lowest riding air suspension on the market and sometimes that means we make many many adjustments to our setups in the development stage so that we can rest assured that we produced the most perfect air suspension possible.
pandasti - The Air Suspension Veteran Delivers
Stephen, known to many on IG as pandasti, is a seasoned pro in the air suspension game. If you haven't seen his cars at the many shows he attends, you've definitely stumbled across them online. One of his most famous is the Subaru STI VA seen below, but his G80 M3 Competition is surely going to be a challenger for that title.
