BC Racing BR Series Extreme Low Coilovers for the Volvo 850 S70 & V70 I are built for an aggressive, show-ready drop
beyond what a standard coilover kit delivers - using a shock and spring package roughly 20mm shorter for about
1" of additional drop on most applications. The shortened shock length preserves usable damper travel at a lower
stance, and the kit keeps the same 30-way adjustable mono-tube damper and independent ride-height adjustment as
the rest of the BR Series lineup.

What Makes These Coilovers "Extreme Low"
BC Racing Extreme Low coilovers use a shock and spring combination roughly 20mm shorter than a standard coilover
setup, which translates to approximately 1 inch of additional drop over a standard kit on most applications.
Since the damper itself is physically shorter, you get a lower ride height while still retaining usable
suspension travel - instead of running a standard kit with the springs drooped low and the shock riding near
fully compressed. Spring rates on Extreme Low kits may be stiffer than the standard equivalent depending on the
platform, which can sharpen handling response but may also make bumps a bit harsher.
Converting BC Racing Coilovers to Air Suspension
BR Series coilovers on the Volvo 850 S70 & V70 I aren't locked into a coil spring setup for life. Because they feature
fully-threaded shock bodies, these coilovers convert to a full air suspension setup by simply removing the coil
springs and threading on a set of coilover conversion
bags in their place. Want to start out with coils and move to air suspension in the future? This makes
the BR Series a practical starting point for owners who want coilover-level adjustability now but may want to
move to air suspension down the road, or who want to keep that option open without committing to a full air ride
kit up front.

Spring Rate Upgrades
The standard springs on BC Racing coilovers work well for most builds, but if you're chasing a specific stance
or feel, the BR Series can be upgraded to a custom spring rate at checkout:
Custom Spring Rates for BC Racing
Coilovers (4 Corner) - spec your own spring rates up to 20k, installed on your coilovers in place of
the standard springs by BC Racing before shipping.
Swift Springs Upgrade for Coilovers (4
Corner) - for spring rates above 20k, or for Swift's
faster reacting spring material, installed in place of the standard springs.
Both options replace the standard springs entirely - you won't receive the stock springs alongside a custom
spring rate order. To order simply add either one of the above products to your car with this set of coilovers
or reach out and we can help you with placing the order.
